Almost full length photographic portrait of Princess Marie Louise in her wedding dress; she holds a bouquet.Princess Marie Louise married Prince Aribert of Anhalt on 6 July 1891 at St Georges Chapel, Windsor Castle. However the marriage was not a success and it was annulled in 1900; she never re-married. In 1917 the Princess discontinued the use of her German title and name, like many of her cousins and German relations, when King George V changed the family name of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor.
