This corduroy fabric has 6 wales which means its ribs are quite wide. For example, a Babycord has around 21 Wales. The lower the number, the wider the ribs.

This corduroy fabric also has a 5% elastane content, which makes it pleasantly stretchy. This makes the fabric even more comfortable and can also be sewn for projects that require elasticity.
