Cone 06 oxidation (large photo): Turtle Shell is a glossy, greenish teal glaze that breaks dark greenish teat at three coats. It has an orangish brown stain. Cone 6 oxidation (small photo): Color changes to a semi-translucent, variegated olive green/blue that breaks over texture and pools blue. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur. TIP: This glaze WILL move. Take care when using on vertical pieces reduce glaze thickness towards the bottom third to minimize run-off.
