Cesarean Section Recovery and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy — Embody Health Centre

By A Mystery Man Writer

After a c-section, women can experience abdominal pain and weakness, abdominal separation (rectus diastasis), constipation and potentially pain with sexual intercourse. Compared to a vaginal delivery, women tend to have an over-active (hypertonic) pelvic floor.

Here at Embody, our mission is to help people identify and improve the connection between health, happiness and physical well-being. We are committed to helping people reach their full physical potential through a unique and customised combination of therapies including physiotherapy, massage therapy, yoga, pilates, and more.
