• 1 oz bottle easily makes 55-75 ounces of alcohol based vibrant stain dye. This kit contains (5) 1 oz bottles with 5 colors, and all will easily intermix with each other to create numerous color variations and tints.
• Wood dyes mix with reagents like: Lacquer Thinner, Alcohols, Acetone, etc. will mix with water, but is not as color potent as with solvent.
Also colors Solvent (non oil base like lacquer or shellac) or Water based sealers (like low voc sealers, many epoxy resins etc.)

This listing is not for our powder wood dye, and our liquid dyes are designed for solvent base dye staining. This means this listing is a wood dye liquid which is an organic dye and performs very well as an alcohol dye.
Each liquid dye color will contain (1) oz of powerful solvent based dye concentrate, which can make up 55-75 ounces of dye stain per each 1 ounce bottle (conservative estimate). Keda liquid dye mixes with many types of reagents such as: Lacquer Thinner, Alcohols, Acetone, keystones (non oil based) etc. but will also tint water based top coat sealers.
Keda liquid dye will also mix with numerous non oil based top coat sealers, or epoxy resins, making it a great lacquer tint, shellac, or epoxy resin tint as well as a color potent alcohol dye stain.

Please always use Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) no matter what wood coloring product you use.
*Our liquid alcohol dye will perform very well when mixed with denatured alcohol, lacquer thinner, acetone, or other non oil based reagents, but will also work very well when tinting water base and non oil base top coat sealers as well. These really are very color potent wood dyes, and can make 8 oz - 12 oz of dye stain, with as little as 2 - 3 grams of the liquid dye concentrates still yielding a very good color saturation when mixed with Denatured alcohol, acetone, or lacquer thinner as a dye stain.
*One color of Keda Liquid Dye will cover approximately 150-200 square feet for average wood density, and sanded to a 150 grit sandpaper. This listing offers 5 colors for a total of 750-1000 square feet.
