This design was made in collaboration with Dominican artist, Maria-José García Butler, where every product sold helps support her creative work in the island. Maria-José (aka EMEJOTA) is a 29-year old muralist, graphic designer and illustrator whose passion for design led herto study marketing and graphic design at her local university. She is the founder of @emejotadesigns which is a project born in 2015 featuring a unique doll named EME - a fictional character that showcases the unique personalities of women in its design which are hand-painted on clear cellpone covers.
