These classic but pretty ankle socks have been knitted in a 4ply blend of 80% merino wool and 20% nylon and feel really nice and soft to the touch.
The hand dyed yarn was purchased from theknittingshed.com last year when I visited the Wonder Wool Show in Wales. I couldn't resist the subtle stripy shades within the hand dyed gold coloured yarn.
From heel to toe they measure 9.5 inches.
The socks are machine washable on a gentle wool cycle or can be hand washed.
These socks will be just the thing for popping on to keep the toes toastie on cooler days and will also make a nice stocking filler present.
