Use gloves. Start applying the Smoothing Treatment in 2 to 4cm sections, section by section from the roots to the ends. Start from the back sections. Apply with a tint brush and use a fine tooth comb to spread the product length wise. then comb the hair back, avoiding contact with the face. Exposure time will vary, depending on the type of hair and the resistance to the curl being treated.
