Google has today confirmed that there has been a panda update which is said to affect less than 5% of queries. 5% is pretty large for a Panda update however, this update is said to only affect Japanese & Korean languages.

This update makes this Panda 3.9. The last Panda update (Panda 3.8) was on the 25th of June, see: https://www.seroundtable.com/google-panda-3-8-15350.

Since this update affected only Japanese & Korean languages, I’m expecting there to be another update for worldwide searches over the next few weeks.
