Product Overview - This versatile drill guide jig allows accurate drilling of horizontal, vertical, and angled holes at 90, and 30 degrees for installing cable railing posts. It features interchangeable guide bushings for drill bits from 3/16 to 3/8 inch and a clear acrylic body for visibility while drilling holes in wood railing posts.
Accurate and Multi-Angle - This cable railing drilling guide jig dowel allows you to drill 90-degree horizontal, vertical straight holes, and 30-degree angled holes for the wood railing post. You can add a whole new level of accuracy with this drill guide jig when drilling railing post holes with your hand drill.
Various hole sizes - This cable railing drill template guide jig offers 4 different size guide track holes (fit 3/16”,1/4”, 5/16”,3/8” drill bit), compatible with most cable railing kit hardware. The hole drilled by a 1/4 drill fit most of the 1/8 cable railings' lag screws. You can fix the steel sleeves by tightening the set screws to prevent the steel sleeves from falling off during drilling.
Visible and Portable - The drill guide is made of transparent acrylic with excellent visibility that you are easy to position accurately on the decking wood post. It is portable and easy to carry. Recommend working with F clamp or C clamp for steadier and safer drilling. Note: Clamps are not included, please search F or C clamp and choose a size larger than 8 inches
